Voyage ABBA Tribute Night

Get ready for an unforgettable evening of music, dancing and nostalgia with a live ABBA tribute band performing all the greatest hits!

Fabric Committee

The Fabric Committee meet approximately every two months to discuss the ongoing maintenance of our beautiful church and halls. Due to some retirements, we are looking for volunteers to join this team. Please note that the team focuses on identifying, prioritising, and arranging maintenance, rather than carrying out the maintenance yourself.

If you are interested in becoming involved, please contact the office in the first instance.

Sunday Tea & Coffee

Tea and coffee after the service will resume on 13th September. Thereafter, refreshments will revert to being served on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. We warmly invite you to stay, enjoy a cuppa, and have a chat.

Season of Creation and 800th Anniversary of St Francis:

Everyone is welcome to this Special Ecumenical Event. Readings from the Canticle of the Sun, Music with Assemble Strings, Ukraine, St Bride’s and St Mungo Singers. 3.30pm Sunday 4th October, St Bride’s Scottish Episcopal Church, 69 Hyndland Road, Glasgow, G12 9UX.

LiFT

The Church of Scotland Guild’s ecumenical group, LiFT, is holding and event in Carnwadric Parish Church on the 24^th of October from 11am-2pm. They’d love to see the 18-40 year olds from our church and communities attend if they are available. They will have a speaker and lunch will be provided as well as telling attendees who we are and what we do and holding a discussion based around Luke 24:13-35.

Children & Young People

We are committed to nurturing faith at all stages of life. Our Sunday Club provides teaching and fellowship for children, led by an experienced Elder, with parents actively involved.

Activities

Mearns Kirk offer a wide a varied range of activities for all ages and abilities. These include Brownie and Guide groups, musical classes and amateur theatre groups as well as meditation classes and yoga classes.

Sunday Service

Our Sunday services are live streamed by a team of volunteers, making it possible for those at home to join in worship. Recordings of previous services are also available online – here.
