Hall Lets

The Mearns Kirk halls are a vibrant and valuable resource for both the church and the wider community. With three modern and attractive spaces available for hire, the halls can accommodate groups of all sizes and a wide range of activities.

All areas are fully accessible, including a dedicated disabled toilet, ensuring everyone feels welcome and included.

Sullivan Hall

A spacious, flexible venue featuring a café-style kitchen and folding doors for adaptable layouts. Regularly used for Café Church, Sunday Club, Guides, Brownies, and large group gatherings.

Full Hall Capacity: Up to 100 people (depending on layout).

Flexible Layouts: Folding doors can divide the hall into two separate spaces:

Sullivan Hall 1: Maximum capacity of 50

Sullivan Hall 2: Maximum capacity of 50

The Wee Hall

A peaceful and welcoming space, ideal for meetings and quiet activities. From September to June, it hosts mid‑week worship and provides a supportive setting for various groups throughout the week.

Capacity: Up to 60 people (depending on layout)

The Garden Room

An intimate and versatile setting, perfect for small group activities, discussions, and focused meetings.

Capacity: Up to 20 people (depending on layout)

Kitchen

A fully equipped commercial kitchen is available to support catering needs for events both large and small.

Requirements: Anyone preparing food or drink must hold a valid Food Safety Certificate and be trained in relevant procedures, including safe dishwasher operation.

Children & Young People

We are committed to nurturing faith at all stages of life. Our Sunday Club provides teaching and fellowship for children, led by an experienced Elder, with parents actively involved.

Activities

Mearns Kirk offer a wide a varied range of activities for all ages and abilities. These include Brownie and Guide groups, musical classes and amateur theatre groups as well as meditation classes and yoga classes.

Sunday Service

Our Sunday services are live streamed by a team of volunteers, making it possible for those at home to join in worship. Recordings of previous services are also available online – here.
