Christian Meditation
We follow the practice of the World Community for Christian Meditation (WCCM). As WCCM teaches: “Meditation is about coming to stillness of spirit and body. To reach stillness we have to devote time to the work of silence. To do so we recite a short phrase, a prayer‑word known today as mantra, chosen by you.”
Our group meets fortnightly in the church. Each gathering begins with prayer, Bible reading, and reflections, followed by 25 minutes of silence, 5 minutes of reflective music, and a closing prayer.
We are blessed with the gift of total silence in our church, allowing us to experience deep stillness as we meditate together. You are warmly invited to join us.
